About Regs

We built Regs because group chats were never meant to run a sports group. And yet here we all are, scrolling for the venue address at 19:14.

Group chats are brilliant for banter. They are a terrible roster. Regs is the quiet layer on top: who is in, who has a seat, who is a Regular, and what time you are actually meant to show up. The group chat stays a group chat.

Organising a sports group shouldn't feel like a second job. But between chasing replies, keeping track of who's coming, filling the last few spots, and making sure everyone knows the plan, it's easy to spend more time organising the activity than enjoying it.

Regs brings the important bits together, so everyone knows where they stand and the person organising things doesn't have to hold the whole group together with unread messages and crossed fingers. From recurring football kickabouts to basketball sessions, runs, and everything else friends get together to play, Regs helps groups organise activities without losing the spontaneity that made them fun in the first place.

And it's built around the people who actually show up. The regulars who make a group a group. The managers who keep it going. The friends who say yes, bring someone along, and make the next activity happen. Because a good sports group isn't just a list of names. It's people who keep coming back.

That is why Regs exists. So the people who keep turning up get first seats, the manager is not hunting for a yes in a 400-message thread, and match day is about the match again.
